The Township of West Lincoln is seeking quotations for the grass cutting and general maintenance of our Wellandport Park for a three (3) year term.

The Wellandport park is located at 5042 regional Rd. 63 in the hamlet of Wellandport and is approximately 19 acres (7.7 hectares) in area.

Quotations can be only submitted via email at; bdenison@westlincoln.ca and must be received before April 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Local Time.  Quotations will not be opened publicly.  

Closing Date is; April 7, 2022

Opening of proposals will occur at Township Administrative Office.

The work to be carried out under this contract consists of, but is not limited to the items listed below;

1. The contractor shall supply all equipment to cut and trim the grass area to an acceptable standard as set out by the Township within the park boundaries.
2. Clean garbage and debris from the park on a routine schedule.
3. Inspect the park area and remedy or report any unsafe conditions and file documentation of inspections and actions taken.
4. Recommend actions required that may be outside of the contract to the Township

To be considered for this contract the contractor must;

• Be a licensed business in Ontario.
• Hold a WSIB certificate or WSIB Independent Operator Without Coverage letter
• Have commercial business liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000.00
• Operate in compliance with all governing regulations Ie. OHSA
• Enter into a three year contract with the Township and sign off on a Liability waiver releasing the Township from claims.

Lowest or any quotation not necessarily accepted.
