This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by The Township to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of an IT Strategic Plan as further described in Section 4: Specifications and Requirements – RFP Particulars (the “Deliverables”). Information Technology (“IT”) is a division within the Corporate Services Department. Some IT responsibilities include Network and Server infrastructure, Desktop Hardware, Telecommunications, and support for the Township’s enterprise software. The IT Division currently supports approximately 200 staff with varying hardware including Desktop/Laptop/Tablet computers as well as servers both in physical and virtual forms located at any one of 6 facilities. The Township of West Lincoln operates with an in-house IT Department. There has been steady growth and a rapid change within the Township’s culture resulting in an increased reliance on technology to help deliver efficient quality programs and services to residents. The ongoing nature of these conditions is the motivation behind the Township’s desire to develop an Information Technology Strategic Plan.
